2021/22 crossover service

CROSSOVER TO TAKE OVER Matthew 14:22-36 You cannot conquer what you will not confront. What’s the Lord’s desire for you and me? It’s time to make the crossover - to go to the other side (v 22). Now is the time to “CROSSOVER TO TAKEOVER.”

CROSSOVER TO TAKE OVER Matthew 14:22-36 You cannot conquer what you will not confront. What’s the Lord’s desire for you and me? It’s time to make the crossover - to go to the other side (v 22). Now is the time to “CROSSOVER TO TAKEOVER.” Question: Why Jesus did not cause the storm to cease? I. PURPOSE – In the MIND of God Mark 6:48 tells us Jesus “intended to pass them by” on the water. The verb “to pass by” (“parerchomai” in the Septuagint) refers to a “theophany” – those defining moments when God made “striking and temporary appearances on earth for the purpose of communicating a message.” Examples: Exodus 33:22; 1 Kings 19:11 There is a pattern to these stories:  God desires to reveal His PRESENCE.  God was calling them to do something extraordinary – to reveal His POWER. Today He wants you to walk in authority over the very thing that is terrifying you. There’s a purpose in the mind of God. But what must you do in the midst of the storm so that you can crossover to take over? II. PLAN – In the MIDST of the storm 2 Chronicles 16:9 “For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose heart are fully committed to Him...” Fully committed to God in: # God’s WORD

# God’s VISION
